i understand that it’s not my place to really comment on this but i have pan friends who are VERY upset by redefining bisexuality because they feel it DOES erase their identities
to claim that a group of self-determined, self-identifying bisexual people (who may love people of more than two genders) is nonexistent or cannot exist within that identity literally erases and denies the existence of those bisexual people. when self-determined, self-identified bisexual people love people of more than two genders, pansexual people remain free to love people of all genders. one of these things is demonstrably erasure, and the other is not. –egg
i love how scientists in fiction are always called “scientists”. thats it. they wear a Labcoat Of +5 Science and +5 Medicine. They do not specialize in a tree of science, like Biology or Astrology.
